Here we go Friday.  We own you!  John C continues to talk about some of the benefits of intentional living.  One of the main benefits of writing your own story, and writing it now is you get to choose your legacy.

“What an opportunity!  Today you and I can decide to live a life that matters, and that will impact how we will be remembered after we’re gone.”

My favorite part of today’s reading was when he said:
1. I want to make a difference
2. With people who make a difference
3. At a time that makes a difference
Let’s think about those 3 statements for a little bit.  If we write our life story and in every chapter it talks about spending time blessing the lives of others and spending your free time with others who want to effect change in people, how do you think your life is going to end up?  I guarantee it will be one of happiness and success.  There is no doubt in my mind.  As I have said before, of all the principles that we learn every single day, if I could only choose 3 to start with, it would be these 3:
1. Wake up early and get better every day
2. Work harder than anyone else and never quit
3. Serve and love others above anything else.
I want to make a difference in this world.  I want to fight to see my kids stand up for what’s right in a world that teaches them the opposite.  I want to help Holly continue to be a better version of herself every day.  I want to build businesses and give opportunities to those that work their butts off.  I want to be a great example of living and looking healthy.  I want to lift people up when they don’t feel like they are important.  Then I want to see them lift someone else up and have the same effect.  I want to love uncontrollably, and give back more and more to those that have blessed my life.  My ultimate desire is to bring happiness and teach success principles to anyone who will hear the words come out of my mouth.  That is my life’s purpose.  And although I am so far from being perfect at it, I am loving the hell out of the journey.  I invite all of you to come along with me.
