I freaking love Wednesday’s. They are a perfect day to take over the world! I just wanted to start today’s blog with a little bit of “there is proof in the pudding.” As many of you already know, we are at a DishOne leadership conference in Las Vegas. We started early this morning with our meetings. So to be able to get a workout in, it had to be at 6:30 or earlier. EVERYONE that was there this morning just so happen to make up some of our top reps, top managers, top regionals, and top VP’s. EVERYONE in there are some of our most successful, highest earning peeps. And here is the deal, I guaran-ass-tee their day will go better today because they decided to be at the gym this morning making themselves better.

It felt good to be in the presence of those working so hard to be better.

Today we continue to talk about why people fall into the category of mediocrity. The link between success and accountability is irrefutable. Those at the top of their games in all aspects of life are those that have a high degree of accountability. “It gives them the leverage they need to take action and create results, even when they don’t feel like it.” Accountability is the act of being responsible to someone else for some action or result. Since an early age up until the age of 18 or so, our accountability was being linked to the adults that we have in our lives. Without them, we would have been uneducated, malnourished, and and sleep-deprived.

Accountability has brought order to our lives and allowed us to progress, improve and achieve results we wouldn't have otherwise.

Now that we are all grown up, we have to start taking responsibility for our actions and our success. One of the best things you can do is have an accountability partner. Two nights ago, I invited about 30 people to join us at the gym the next morning. Why? Because I knew I would be out late the night before hanging out with guys, and sure as hell wouldn’t want to wake up the next morning early.

However, because the commitment was made to more than just myself, it was impossible for me not to show up. If you want to be successful and happy, you have to start taking full responsibility for it. If life sucks, it’s on you. If you feel stuck in your situation, whether it be a relationship, a job, or your financial stability, do something about it. Happiness is a choice! Being pissed, offended and depressed is also a choice. Time to make the right choice!

Life is good if you want it to be!

Yours truly,

Choosing to be happy, Cram
