Awwwww yeah! Friday is upon us! Time to get it! Today we are talking about how to find your passion and purpose. Psychotherapist Nathaniel Branden, said that

the first step toward change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.

If you want to change and grow, you must know yourself and accept who you are in the current moment before you start building. The book, The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth, has 10 questions that will help you start working through the process.

  1. Do you like what you are doing now? — If you don’t enjoy what you do for a living, then you need to take some time to examine why. Is it because you settle for the mid-level job, instead of going all in to make your way to the top? If so, why do you settle? Are you afraid you might fail? Are you afraid of the risk? Are you afraid that it might be the wrong decision? It is never the wrong decision to excel. Remember, it is never the wrong decision to make changes to love what you do.
  1. What would you like to do? — So what is your passion? 14 years ago, I was given an opportunity in the door-to-door industry that has changed the course of my entire life. As I begin to do this job, my passion quickly became aimed to take a service into the homes of the average American. I wanted to give them something better and cheaper than what they currently had.

It was easy for me to get passionate about that because many times I would walk out of their house with a pat on the back and a “thank you for coming by, Marc.” I then saw what this job did for me financially and how much it was starting to develop me as a person. My passion quickly turned to helping any other person who would sit down and listen, to have the same opportunity that I was given 14 years ago. My life has been so blessed to see so many cases of young men and women changing their entire lives, just like I have mine. You’ll see it’s pretty easy to get passionate about changing lives.

  • You will never fulfill your destiny doing work you despise
  • Passion gives you an advantage over others, because one person with passion is greater than ninety-nine who have only an interest
  • Passion gives you energy
  • Passion give you purpose

So how do you tap into your passion? Listen to your heart!

Pay attention to what you love doing! It will be one of the most important decisions of your life!

Every morning when I wake up, it is always a little harder to get out of bed. However, when I do, the magic begins! It really does! My heart is filled every time I pick up a book, or grab my computer to write a blog, or write down my goals and affirmations. Every single time! Why? Because growing and learning is one of my passions. Know what you love! Know what your purpose is! Then, go to the ends of the earth to fulfill it.

Life is good when you have purpose.

Yours truly,

Just thankful to be alive, Cram
