And, we are headed back on a plane to Salt Lake. Just had the opportunity to cruise over to Minnesota to meet up with Josh Barta and his team of all-star studs. Which sparks the topic that I want to speak on today. The topic is great men, leaders, and motivators. Josh has worked with us at DishOne for several years now. Every second of which he has represented himself and the company with the utmost character, consistency, and class. And I appreciate sincerely his example. It’s spreads deep into the hearts of his team as well. We have several great leaders that have been with the company for a long time. It would take up the whole blog if I took the time to write everyone’s name. But you know who you are.
As I travel the country, I get to see these guys and gals in action. And this is what I observe. First of all, they practice what they preach. They are the first ones to get up in the morning and the last ones to go to bed. Second, they love their people. I watch them as they point their team in the direction of success in life. They know them by way more than just their name. They know them by their passion. Third, they are great husbands, fathers, friends, and people. They make their mark by putting other people first. Fourth, they believe. Sometimes they may fall and make mistakes, but they ALWAYS get back up with the faith they can make a difference. Fifth, they are consistent and disciplined. Repetition is the name of their game. Sixth, they are obsessed with growth. And not just some days, but every day. Seventh, they know what they want and they DO NOT stop until they accomplish it.
There is a reason that these same people find gobs and gobs of success, wealth, and happiness. On this day, I would like to thank all the Josh Barta’s of the world. Those who stand up for good, and live it too. As I said to the Minnesota team this morning, I hope that my two boys will stand for the same things that they do. I hope that they make the conscience choice to be great and do great every single day. Because this will be one proud dad if they do.
Keep being great!
Super grateful, Cram
