Wednesday could not have come at a better time.  I hope by the time you read this blog, the Jazz are up 1-0.  #takenote.  Today, John C talks about the exact benefits we receive as we begin to intentionally live.

1. Intentional living prompts us to ask, “What is significant in my life?”- Jon believes that successful people are good in 4 areas.  Relationships, equipping, attitude, and leadership.  Once he learned that, he realized that if he wanted to climb to the top, and accomplish all of his goals, he needed to grow and develop in each of the 4 categories.  Living intentionally will motivate us to start asking questions and to help us prioritize what is important.

We should be asking ourselves the questions:

Can I make a difference?

Whom should I help?

How can I help them?

How can I add value to them?

Once you know what is significant to you in your life, you will begin to focus more on those thoughts.  “An unintentional life accepts everything and does nothing.  An intentional life embraces only the things that will add to the mission of significance.”

2. Intentional living motivates us to take immediate action in areas of significance- when we have finally made the shift from “good intentions” to intentional living, when we see things that matter to us, we stop thinking that something should be done, and instead, we start doing something about it.  We take ownership.  We start to take urgency in getting things done.  Many of you have probably heard of the exercise of getting out of bed each day and saying 50 times, “Do it now!”  The challenge is to do it right when you wake up and then right before you go back to bed.  Do it every day for one month, and watch what happens.  This will create an urgency within you that will add so much value to the rest of your life.

When are you going to stop waiting and start living?  No matter where you are in life and what is going on, today is a great day to start living, loving, and dominating.

Life is good.
Yours truly,
Intentionally living for days, Cram
