Happy Friday to all of you great people. Today Jack talks about his next principle, which is “keep your eye on the prize.” It is easy to be negative and unmotivated, but it takes some work to be positive and motivated. Successful people maintain a positive focus in life no matter what is going on around them. As I have said before, successful people stay focused on their passed successes, rather than on their passed failures. They stay focused on their goals, rather than on life’s distractions. They are CONSTANTLY pro-active in the pursuit of their goals and objectives. Jack, continues to drive home the fact that finishing your day the right way is just as important as how you start it. Your unconscious mind replays all night what you put in it right before you go to bed.

When a child reads a good book before he/she goes to bed, the morale of the story starts to become a part of the child’s consciousness. If you drift off to bed watching the late night news, that is what you will be imprinting in your consciousness. Crime, automobile accidents, murder, fires, and corporate scandals will be running through your mind while you sleep. Doesn’t sound that sweet does it? Think how much better it would be to read an inspirational autobiography or spend some time congratulating yourself in the mirror for the things you were able to accomplish that day.

Imagine the power of meditating or listening to a self-help audio book right before bed.

To be honest with you guys, this is definitely one of the major rooms that I can improve in my life. Usually, I drift off to writing work emails and doing knee exercises. I am going to challenge myself and all of you to change it up a little bit. Even if you spend 10 minutes before you go to bed, reading a self-development book and then 5 minutes looking yourself in the mirror and expressing all the reasons why it was a great day. I can guarantee that it will make a huge difference and I am looking forward to putting it into practice tonight. Once again, happiness comes from progress. I know I say that all the time, but it does. When you get caught up in doing small things like ending your day the right way, you will find that the rest of your day starts to go the right way too. So as always, keep doing the small and simple things that unsuccessful people are unwilling to do, and your life will be happy and blessed.

Kick ass today!

Yours truly,

Working that late night motivation, Cram
