We have spent quite a bit of time talking about the power of the mind and its ability to effect everything. We are coming towards the end of the short read that As A Man Thinketh brings. I thought it appropriate that the next book we bring to the table be The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. I was just referred it by a family member. It will dig into far more detail about the power of a great morning and exactly what we can do to master it. Let’s finish today’s book strong. “The body is the servant of the mind.” As we have talked about quite a few times,

what you put into the mind, will inevitably come out in your actions. There is no stopping it.

If the mind is such a powerful force in everyone’s lives, why don’t we protect it with everything we have? Over the past couple weeks, all we have pretty much talked about is the fact that you ALWAYS become what you think about. If God came to us and told us that if you hiked a certain mountain in a certain place and that at the top would be riches, happiness, success, and love beyond your imagination, we would spend any amount of time and resources needed to get there. It really is the same concept. God has given us our minds. They are one of the most powerful things on this planet. They have the ability to take us to the greatest amount of riches, happiness, success, and love. But yet, we still underestimate, undervalue, and mistreat them. We still allow negativity, spite, anger, and greed to enter into them. If God told you about that same mountain, would you go at it hard for a half day and then spend the other half walking back down the hill, away from your destination? That wouldn’t even make sense. But yet, we continue to do it.

One of the greatest bits of advice that I could give to myself and all of you, is to be the master of your mind. Cultivate the living shiz out of it. Spend time every single day, deliberately adding good, positive, uplifting things into it. Focus hard on pushing out the negativity, selfishness, anger, and revenge that enters into it. Those things get you NO WHERE in life. Life will always, in the long run, turn out good when you are doing your best to be your best. Remember, “The body is the servant of the mind.” Protect it with everything you have.

Yours truly,

Trying to protect, Cram
