Today is going to be a great day! There is no doubt in my mind. We continue on with the book, As A Man Thinketh. Today my studies began with the quote, “Let a man radically alter his thoughts, and he will be astonished at the rapid transformation it will effect in the material conditions of his life.” Think positive, do positive, and become positive. Men and women have this idea that thought can be kept secret. But it CAN’T! It rapidly turns into habit. And habit turns into circumstance. One of my favorite quotes is “You can’t have it right on the outside until you have it right on the inside.”

Well, if you don’t have it right on the inside, eventually people will know, because your life will become a direct reflection of it.

I know it sounds so simple, but if you think positive, happy thoughts, your life has nowhere to go but up. If you think lazy thoughts, you will become lazy. If you think negative, and that the world is coming to an end, you will make yourself sick and therefore unhappy. If you believe you are a bad ass, you will become one. If you believe you are smart, you might not always have the world’s highest IQ, but you will act smart, which is equally as important. “A particular train of thought persisted in, be it good or bad, cannot fail to produce its results on the character and circumstances. A man can not directly choose his circumstances but he can choose his thoughts, and so indirectly, yet surely, shape his circumstances.”

I wrote in yesterday’s blog about what my morning schedule looks like. I am a true believer that if you start the right way, you will find a way to end there too. And it starts from the first decision you make. Think of the difference in how you feel when you press snooze and stay in bed, as opposed to getting right up to get your studies in. Huge difference in feeling. One is a feeling of guilt and regret, where one is a feeling of accomplishment. I have been on both sides, and I know without a doubt which one I prefer, but yet I still battle myself with that decision almost every day. Start to make the decision today to start your day the right way. It never gets easy, but it will always be worth it.

Yours truly,

Always trying to take the road less traveled, Cram
